We’re situated in the Waterkloof Ridge / Monumentpark area, just off the R21. It is around 25 mins from OR Tambo Airport and the North of Joburg and around 10 minutes from Centurion. Decibels Studio is easily accessible from the R21 with very little traffic hassles. Help yourself to some free coffee, tea and wi-fi while you rehearse or bring your own drinks and chill it it the fridge in our kitchen. Clean bathroom fascilities. Ample, safe indoors parking.

Rehearsals are R150 per hour and we do ask that drummers bring their own sticks and cymbals.

Lounge area to relax or discuss your next move with your band before you go back in to make some next level tunes.

The rehearsal space itself – the acoustics and sound treatment is perfect, complete with some bass traps and a double doo. We have a 5 piece Tama drum kit and a DW3000 double bass pedal. You can also use up to 5 vocal mics & mic stands if needed and we have a small selection of amps to choose from if you don’t want to bring or have your own your own.

We have installed patch panels in the studio and control room as well as camera-to-TV communication between the two rooms. We can track and record your band on the latest version of Cubase. The Akai min-pad as well as an M-Audio Keystation 49 is also available for tracking/recording purposes. Both patch panels also have 2 powered USB point where you can charge your phone or copy files across to the control room. The TV inside the rehearsal room has a Chrome cast connected to it, so you can stream your own music to it for rehearsal purposes or even stream YouTube videos for reference purposes.

Every drum is mic’ed up separately and there are two overhead microphones as well
